Our Name is Mercy...
We are women committed to the service of those who are most in need of mercy in today's world...persons who are poor, sick, oppressed, or uneducated, especially women, and children.

We follow in the tradition of our Foundress Catherine McAuley who sought to empower persons to achieve lives of dignity. We draw our inspiration from the Gospel model of Jesus who reached out to all in need.

We are women of faith. We witness to God's continuing outpouring of Mercy through our lives of service, prayer and community. You can find our members, 83 in number, wherever the spiritual and corporal works of mercy call for our presence, in schools, hospitals, prisons, shelters, retreat centers, and parish communities.
