Located primarily in Northern California, we link with others who want to make our society a better place for all peoples. We dedicate ourselves to both direct service and to working to change systems which deprive persons of the opportunity to live with dignity and respect.
We are part of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. Our Institute is made up of twenty-five Regional Communities serving in twelve countries. Sisters, over 5,500 in number, along with our Mercy Associates and collaborators bring relief to the suffering, the uneducated and the marginated in Argentina, Belize, Chile, Guam, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Panama, Peru, the Phillipines, and the United States.
